A Flash tutorial on using a Python script to cause each instance of one object in an Ecosystem to have a light source installed into it. Tutorial scene and script can be downloaded.
Great for street lights, walkway lights, airport runway lights, etc.
If you do not need actual light and shadow coming from your objects, it is easier, and less time/resource intensive, to just use a glowing material.
